Frequently asked questions...

bulletHow do I add a missing child's information?
bulletAnswer...
bulletDo I have to wait to have the NCIC number assigned to the case before I can add a child?
bulletYes, this is the only way we can insure this is a legitimate case and this also forces you to take that initial step which is critical in the resolution of your case.
bulletI have acquired additional information about the case after I had inputted the initial case...  How do I pass on the information to you?
bulletSend us an email with the additional information... and we will pass it on to the investigator handling the case, and added to the file.
bulletHow and when would I know if my child has been found by your team?
bulletIf a child is located by any of our team members, the police department where you reported the case will be first notified. Immediately after that, a call will be placed to you.
bulletI am the parent of a missing child you are working on... What can I do to help?
bulletInsure to provide as much detail information about the disappearance, when you fill out the case file.  If you suspect anyone, for any reason, make sure to make us aware and tell us why. Provide us a list of your child's friends, with contact information.
bulletAlways keep us abreast of any new information you come across relating to your child's disappearance, no matter how insignificant it may seem.
bulletKeep yourself up to date on any recent increase of missing children in your area. Local happenings (law enforcement, or not... ) that could relate in any way to your child and make us aware...
bulletThis is the hard part...  Remember that no matter how bad we want to to help you find your child (this is why we volunteer), we are just that... Volunteers.  We have other jobs and responsibilities, in addition to additional cases we are working on a volunteer basis and you have to be patient with us.  Trust the fact that we want to find your child almost (and I say almost, since obviously no one can be more interested than you...) as bad as you want him or her found.
bulletAdditional questions?
bulletPlease feel free to email them to us... and we will be more than happy to answer them.
